FEBC Japan – WEEKLY SUMMARY: Religion in Japan is a combination of different beliefs, mainly Shintoism and Buddhism. Unlike in the West, religion in Japan is rarely preached, nor is it a doctrine. It is more of a moral code and lifestyle, completely indistinguishable from Japanese social and cultural values. Shintoism is the belief in “spiritual beings” and the practice of rituals as an act of worship to the “spirits”. Japan has fewer baptized believers than some Muslim countries. Pray with us for the growth of the Church in Japan and for many to accept Christ through hearing FEBC’s broadcasts.
