FRR (First Response Radio) – WEEKLY SUMMARY: Last year was a busy year for the FRR team. Especially in Indonesia that was devastated by an earthquake and tsunami in Sulawesi and then later on by another tsunami in the Sunda Strait. After the Sunda Strait tsunami hit, FRR deployed the local FRI (First Response Indonesia) to assist and support local radio stations to broadcast valuable lifesaving information. They also distributed 1,000 radios in the disaster affected areas of Sulawesi and plan to distribute 10,000 more.
