Gedurende die laat 1980’s was daar minder as 20 Christene in Mongolië.

Deelnemers se terugvoer was baie positief.

FEBC Mongolia extends their reach to two additional cities

FEBC Mongolia recently expanded their reach to two additional cities; Choibalsan of Dornod Province and Baruun-Urt of Suhbaatar Province. Choibalsan has a population of 40 000 and Baruun-Urt 20 000. Installation of the radio transmitters has already begun. The team also distributed 100 radios to listeners in each of these cities. Both stations will first serve as relay stations of Family FM 104.5 until May 2019.

It is amazing to see the rapid growth taking place through FEBC Mongolia’s ministry and to witness how God is blessing the entire process. In the late 1980’s there were fewer than 20 Christians in Mongolia. Today, 3% of the population are believers – which is 85 000 people. Their goal is to increase the Christian population to 10% by 2020. FEBC intends to accomplish this by establishing stations in remote areas so that the unreached will be able to hear the gospel.

Additionally, as a part of FEBC Mongolia’s strategic plan for 2018-2021, the team organised their first leadership training session in November 2018. Their aim is to invest in the development of local leaders and to encourage participants to think about their attitude in leading.

Among the attendees were FEBC Mongolia’s chief editor, evangelical alliance board members, FEBC Mongolia’s board members as well as managers from FEBC’s rural stations. The topic of the training was, “The heart of the Leadership” and aspects of Nehemiah’s leadership style was also shared. Feedback from participants was positive and many said they felt they really benefitted from the unique style of the sessions. The training consisted of self-learning, interactive sessions and personal reflection.

Director of FEBC Mongolia T.Batjargal says, “It was a privilege to be part of this training, since the Holy Spirit spoke to so many of us there. Intentionally we did not want to put our focus on ‘how to lead’ in these training sessions. Instead, we wanted to examine the root of leadership and challenge everyone to understand the heart of leadership.”
