At FEBA Radio South Africa we receive countless testimonies of transformed lives. Each demonstrates the power of the Holy Spirit to change hearts through the Word of God. As you might know, FEBA and FEBC are experts at sharing God’s word through radio in the most remote and unreached places on earth!

Although every testimony we receive carries incredible weight, from time to time we receive one that puts us in a state of absolute awe and wonder. We are certain that the testimony you are about to read is something that only God can do:

Mr. Mbeue was born into a Muslim family. His parents’ culture, beliefs and religion were passed down to him. His parents sent him to an Islamic school where he was taught every facet of Islam and he later became a leader at his father’s mosque.

At the same time, he became a practicing witch doctor and taught people witchcraft. All of his children worked with him. He is well known for causing the deaths of many people through the use of magic. He was living a terrible life, failed to educate his children, and couldn’t properly take care of his five wives.

After listening to Radio FOT’s programs in Mozambique, he visited our team at the station and asked about Jesus Christ and the new life that is found in Him. He wanted an explanation of how salvation works. The team followed instructions from 2 John 1 verse 12 – “I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that your joy may be complete” – and visited Mr. Mbeue and his wives at their home.

The team prayed with them, and they all accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that day. He sent away four wives and kept the one with whom he had children. He also stopped practicing as a witch doctor. Radio FOT provided him with a sewing machine and taught him how to use it so that he could start his own small business. He is now 58 years old and a born-again Christian, completely set free from the practices of witchcraft.
