FEBC ervaar geweldige deurbrake in Rusland.

2017 in Review

God has done exceptional things this year and we would like to give Him all the honour and praise for the favour we received throughout 2017. FEBA Radio South Africa and FEBC, together with the loyal support of our partners, were able to expand the reach of our ministry, touching millions of lives.

FEBA/FEBC has had an astronomical impact globally in 2017, bringing the gospel to over 83 ethnic groups all over the world. As we continue to share Christ in some of the hardest to reach places in the world, “until all have heard”, God has been faithful in meeting every need.

There have been many great accomplishments this year. A total of 15,000 radios were donated reaching over 450,000 people with gospel broadcasts. More recently, FEBC Kyrgyzstan, with a goal to establish six stations by 2020 that will reach the entire country, received approval by local authorities to open a new station in Talas located west of Toktogul. This will be their second station established within a 12 month period.

FEBC established three new stations in Ukraine, two of which are situated near conflict zones.

FEBC’s Chinese Ministries also continues to thrive, with 1.1 million downloads of their online broadcasts taking place every month. In China the Christian population continues to grow despite tightening control from the local government.

FEBC is experiencing tremendous breakthrough in Russia. After forcedly having to shut down their flagship stations they decided to move their programs online, and have now reached 3 million people in 12 months.

A little closer to home, FEBA Radio South Africa was able to extend its reach to over 3 million Yao Muslims and other unreached ethnic groups in Mozambique and Malawi and broadcasts can be heard as far as the boarder of Tanzania. Along with the establishment of three new radio stations; Radio Nuru, Radio FOT (Fountain of Truth) and Radio Chijuanjota, the response from listeners has been incredible, with frequent testimonies of transformed lives. Last month alone, 39 Muslims from the village of Mangochi and Chiponde in Malawi accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and joined listener clubs with the intention to start a new house church.

During this festive season let us reflect on the goodness of God and all that we can be thankful for. May, we all keep in remembrance, as we gather together with loved ones to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, that there are so many people who still need to hear the gospel. Thank you for your support this year and may you all have a blessed Christmas and a happy new year!
