FEBC Chinese Ministries – WEEKLY SUMMARY: Chinese authorities recently published ‘Religious Affairs Regulations,’ which states that all religious activities must be registered and take place at officially censored locations, and doctrines and teachings of Christian churches must adapt to ‘socialism core values.’ In previous rules about religious affairs, they were considered at “Policy” level, yet this one is legislated as a “Law.” The future situation for many house churches and millions of Christians is quite uncertain. While this action may motivate more people to tune into FEBC’s gospel broadcasts in coming years, please pray for the Hong Kong team and all believers in China struggling with these new laws.
