Radio & Audio Bible distribution in Malawi  WEEKLY SUMMARY: FEBA Malawi’s motto is to make disciples of the Yao people through their broadcasts. The Yao people, originally animistic in their beliefs, for hundreds of years only inhabited the northern parts of Mozambique, but it was not until Arab traders arrived at the coast that they became one of the richest and most influential tribes in Southern Africa. It was during this time that the Yao people moved from their traditional home into Malawi and other parts of Tanzania. As a result of their close contact with the Arab traders every Yao tribe was converted to Islam. Today, hundreds of Yao Muslims are giving their lives to Christ and being baptised as a direct result of having heard the message of the gospel through our broadcasts.
