As of 2023, an anti-conversion law has been passed in eleven Indian states. In theory, the law is meant to protect people against conversion-by-coercion or fraud. In practice, it’s used to harass Christians, while they attend church or gather for Bible study. The good news is that people in these states can still listen to FEBA India’s broadcasts. Pray that the law will be amended to give Christians more freedom, and pray that FEBA India’s programs will comfort and teach listeners until they can attend church safely once more.
