FEBC Kazakhstan – WEEKLY SUMMARY: Kazakhstan is home to 131 ethnic groups where Islam is practiced by up to 70% of the country’s population. Only 26% of the population are Christians. There are two dominant ethnic groups in Kazakhstan; ethnic Kazakhs make up 66% of the population and ethnic Russians account for 20% of the population. FEBC Kazakhstan currently broadcasts from its station, Nazar FM in Almaty. The station’s broadcasts are 100% gospel orientated and focus on developing the community through a biblical perspective.
