Chechnya is an autonomous republic in the Russian Federation, home to about 1.5 million people. While a small minority, usually Russians or Georgians, are Christian, ethnic Chechens are usually Muslim, and those who convert to Christianity face terrible consequences. Christians are reluctant to share their testimonies, even anonymously, which makes evangelism especially challenging. Pray that a door will open for FEBC Russia to share the gospel with the Chechen people, and that the gospel will transform Chechnya.
