Niger has a population of approximately 26 million, of which 98% are Muslim. The country is 28th on the Open Doors World Watch List of countries where Christians suffer the most persecution. Being Muslim is an integral part of Nigerien culture and those who convert to Christianity are punished as traitors. Niger has the highest rate of child marriage in the world and many parts of the country suffer under jihadist attacks. FEBA is opening a radio station to share God’s Word with the Nigerien people. Pray that God will bless FEBA Niger’s team and their work this year.
